AVMAP has been working with car makers for more than 15 years and today is a trusted Tier1 OE supplier for the Automotive Industry.

 
AvMap starts working with car makers in 2007, first supplying its portable GPS, then designing tailor-made csolutions, and soon becomes official accessory supplier for PSA group (Peugeot and Citroen), and TOYOTA Motor Europe.

In 2007 AvMap introduces the concept of “PNiD” Personal Navigation in  Dashboard: in-car and portable at the same time, thanks to special car mounts that integrate the portable navigator into the car’s dashboard. 

As in-car navigation solutions become more and more sophisticated and connected, AvMap expands its horizons beyond navigation developing car hotspots, apps and Telematics services for the connected car.  In 2019 the AvMap 4G HotSpot with telematics functionalities is homologated for use in all TOYOTA and LEXUS models in Europe.
